Recipients do not need a subscription to view or reply to the encrypted email, and the recipient may also send back encrypted replies.

Another key feature of Office 365 Message Encryption is on selected emails you compose, you may disable the ability for the recipient(s) to forward your email to others. With this feature, you have more control over where your email goes, and who can view your email.
